Refuse Collector

**Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate to work with our client based in the Musselburgh area.**

About this role:

- Our client is a waste and recycling business who provide collections, recycling, and technologically-driven energy generation services.
- Your duties will include safe and efficient bin waste collection, general maintenance of the working area and lorry, co-operating with management and co-workers, and following health and safety at all times.
- This can be a customer-facing role, so good customer service and communication skills are a must.
- Due to the remote location of our client, you will preferably be local to the area, or able to commute to the area with your own transport.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.

Shift Pattern:

- Shifts are Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Start times between 0500 and 0730
- Long shifts and plenty of overtime available

Rate of Pay (PAYE with Holidays Accrued):

- £9.50 p/h Basic
- £12.63 p/h Overtime
- £12.63 p/h Saturday
- £14.25 p/h Sunday
