A new opportunity has arisen in Lockerbie for a receptionist. This is a full time opportunity working 5 days per week from 8.30am to 5pm.

**The Receptionist role**:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for managing our head office switch board and all other front of house duties.

This role requires you to be highly organised and self-motivated. You will hold high quality communication skills that enable you to interface between internal departments, clients, internal staff and contractors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Answering, screening and directing calls to relevant individuals
- To greet and direct visitors to the offices
- Taking detailed messages and relaying these to the correct recipient without delay
- To book and maintain the conference room electronic diary, coordinating meetings and organise catering, coffee etc
- Provide general administrative and clerical support when required
- Assume duties of Document Controller
- Receive and sort post and deliveries, allocating them to the correct department or individuals
- Process outgoing mail
- Carry out procedural responsibilities in Appendix C of Quality Plan.
- Process daily allocation sheets
- Log archived data to Data Room or container
- Nominated person for 4no procedures
- Maintain lone worker log
- Act as Duty Officer for incidents during normal working hours.

**Your Profile**

You will:

- Have experience of working in an front of house receptionist role
- Have a good knowledge of Microsoft programs - Word, Outlook and Excel
- Have strong communication skills
- Be extremely organised
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
