We are currently seeking a Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at our Tattenhall site. As Accounts Assistant you will be working within the finance team, be responsible for the timely and accurate postings of transactions into the financial system and diligent control of Balance Sheet accounts.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Days (08:30-17:00)
**Salary**: Up to £28,000 Per Annum
**Job responsibilities of a Accounts Assistant include**:
- Maintenance of Balance Sheet accounts
- Posting journals into accounting system
- Use of bespoke systems for analysis/investigative work as required
- Dealing with any subsequent internal queries
- Establishing relationships with group colleagues to query inter group costs
- Reviewing employee expense claims and working with the accounts payable team to rectify issues
- Ad hoc duties as required
**Qualifications**
As a Accounts Assistant you will possess the following skill, experiences and qualifications:
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literate with a high level of Excel skills
- Ability to manipulate Excel data using Lookups, Pivots, Sumifs etc.
- Experience using Accounting software packages
- AAT Level 3 advantageous
- Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines
- Confident when dealing with people on the telephone/in person and at all levels
- Adaptable and methodical approach to work/training/working hours
- Conscientious and reliable
- Excellent communication skills, in order to deliver accurate information
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually
- Professional, approachable and helpful
