An opportunity has arisen for a role within the Department of Accounting and Finance for a Departmental Assistant. This is a key role and gives you the opportunity to gain experience of working in a busy department with a large number of students, degree programmes and academic staff. You will work closely with the Department Administrator in supporting the main areas of the business including academic administration, the student experience and research support.

This is an apprenticeship post so your development will be enhanced by full funding to undertake a recognised Level 3 NVQ Apprenticeship in Business Administration for 1-2 years, as part of the University’s commitment to in-work learning through Apprenticeships.

There is currently the opportunity for hybrid working with a mix of working on campus and remotely through MS teams, although solely working on campus is also an option.
