Saint Ives, United Kingdom Penwith Deanery Full time

*APPLICATION IS ONLY VIA THE FORM PROVIDED ON WEBSITE*

Penwith Deanery is looking to employ a small team of talented Youth, Children and Young Families Workers who will work together across our deanery to grow the work amongst this demographic in our parishes. Through these workers we will hope to see a dramatic increase in the number of contacts between our churches and the children and young people in our communities. Whilst this may not be on a Sunday or as part of traditional church, we hope and pray that it will result in a serious and sustained engagement with faith by many of those with whom we make a connection.

We are looking for someone with a passion for investing in the lives of children and young people to see them grow and flourish as people, and in their Christian faith. We are particularly looking for someone with a heart for those living in deprivation and feeling the effects of social inequality, who has a gift for understanding children and young people and who can work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
