About the role

We currently have a 9 month fixed term vacancy for a Family Worker within the St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley Targeted Support Team
:


The position is full time, 37 hours per week and we are looking for someone who can provide support to families in their home on a 1-1 basis, completing Early Help Assessments, acting as Lead Professional, working alongside colleagues from other agencies.

What will you be doing?

The role of Family Worker is to:

  • Be part of the Family worker Team within the St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley Targeted support team.
  • Use a holistic and family centred approach to carry out assessments of a families needs.
  • Providing targeted individual and group interventions with parents, carers, children and young people, e.g. delivering parenting/domestic abuse programmes.
  • Enabling the needs of children, young people and families to be met where communitybased support is insufficient.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate client records on relevant case management systems.
