Producer - Unannounced Game

Jagex is searching for a Producer to work on our new unannounced game that's being developed in Unreal 5. As a Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running and development of several initiatives towards the project roadmap and release targets. You will be quality focused and lead by example, demonstrating the ability to support and improve planning, development and release processes on a continuous basis to meet product vision and quality goals.

Partnering closely with project Directors, Leads, QA and the wider Production team, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of the Production discipline to ensure the teams you support have a productive day-to-day workflow. You will initiate credible and easily understandable long-term plans, and set yourself up for success to deliver against them.
- You will be experienced in full lifecycle development, detail focused and expert at balancing team resources, development requirements and product goals to deliver game features and content ensuring that the right priorities are set to create clarity and focus for the team to support key objectives. Liaising with internal stakeholders, you’ll ensure key initiatives and dependencies are tracked and risks identified, developing successful mitigating strategies to overcome challenges to delivery and execution.

Someone successful in this role is a player, product, and quality-focused, leading by example, develop trust and respect amongst the team. You will be a motivator and build cross-team communication and relationships. You will guide and support the team to form a collaborative approach that establishes the highest standards and sets the tone for project culture and values.

**Responsibilities**:

- Own key areas of delivery for the game through all phases of production
- Partner closely with the Senior Producer, Development Director and the entire Production team to deliver on short and long-term development and roadmap objectives.
- Work with the Leads & Directors to understand the expectations for the quality and functionality of design, technical and content features. Assist in driving the clear communication of these requirements, expected outcomes, and priorities
- Be the first line of contact for day-to-day development within your areas of responsibility. Work closely with the game team to continually adapt and improve production processes to best support the individual needs of your teams.
- Monitor progress within your teams, providing regular reporting on accomplishments, development status, issues and risks for your assigned areas.
- Proactively identify and solve problems to ensure the smooth running of the teams, escalating as needed. Define mitigation plans that deliver great outcomes for the team and product.
- Drive necessary conversations between teams to tackle blockers, dependencies & shared areas of responsibility, ensuring the outcomes are clear and well-understood by all.
- Track, promote, follow up on and relay information on key decisions, actions & shared discussions.
- Conduct regular, effective retrospectives and post-mortem reviews with the development teams. Communicate concerns clearly to Directors, Leads & Senior Production. Assist in the creation & roll-out of related action plans.

**Requirements**:

- Shipped one or more games at a Producer or higher level.
- Understanding of game development processes and product direction.
- Strong analytical mind with excellent people and communication skills.
- A great communicator that understands what is working, what is of concern and what needs to be improved.
- Experience managing large projects with Agile or hybrid project management principles and practices.
- Experience with JIRA, Shotgun or similar project-tracking software is essential.
- Avid gamer is a plus, with a passion for creating innovative and compelling new games.

£52,500 - £60,000 a year
