We are currently looking to speak to an experienced
**Payroll Officer** to join one of our clients in Yeadon working on with their client base of circa 200 clients. Our client is a forward thinking, and established firm of accountants who are now seeking a new team member to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. Our client takes a modern approach to their work, and they have a close-knit team in place that work hard to achieve the best results, whilst also enjoying what they do.

As
**Payroll Officer** you will:

- Process end to end monthly employee payroll.
- Inputting of monthly payroll data into the payroll system.
- Effectively plan and manage own workload.
- Ensure payroll delivery is within agreed deadlines.
- Validating and inputting all data received.
- Processing new starters, leavers and contract changes.
- Inputting, calculation and recording of statutory payments.
- Processing and submission of relevant HMRC forms.
- Implementation and processing of auto-enrolment pension schemes for all employees.
- Action calculations where necessary for more complicated situations including statutory payments, holidays, redundancies and pay adjustments.
- Assisting year-end payroll procedures and completion of Class 1A NIC's and P11Ds

Skills required:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience of end-to-end payroll process
- Previous usage of Sage would be desirable
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Numerate with the ability to analyse, process and present information

In return as Payroll Officer you will gain the opportunity to work with a professional yet friendly team who have built a positive reputation for themselves. You will work Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm and in return receive a salary £25,000 - £32,000 dependant on experience.
