Despatch Supervisor

Our client in Ipswich is seeking a highly motivated individual to manage a team responsible for the accurate preparation, packaging, and timely dispatch of goods in compliance with quality and cost standards for both B2B and B2C channels.

The role requires efficient picking and packing of goods, team management to achieve clear targets, scanning of packed orders to update systems, meeting deadlines and customer expectations, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Primary responsibilities of this role include accurately selecting and packing goods in preparation for dispatch.

Additionally, you will be expected to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations while upholding a clean and safe working environment.

- Comprehensive understanding of dispatch and stock management processes to ensure successful task completion.
- The ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of productivity is a crucial aspect of this position.
- Understanding and executing work instructions in line with Health & Safety procedures.

While experience in order collation/packing and knowledge of dispatch processes are highly desirable, it is not essential.
