German Customer Care Advisor

**Location**:Newport** (near Cardiff in Wales )
**Work style** Hybrid (just 2 days in office/3 days remote)
**Working Hours**: 9am - 5.30pm
**Salary**: £25000 + bonus + company benefits

The company provides insurance across property, casualty, and other specialty coverage and your role will be to help understand your client's unique insurance needs and then to provide tailored policies for optimal protection.
**The Role**:
As the first point of contact you will "**_advise, help and record_** " everything related to an insurance claim on behalf of your client . The aim is to make the insurance claim process as stress-free as possible
**_Advise & Help_**_ with Claims : Customer Service:_
- Take inbound customer calls with the aim of understanding the specific needs of the client
- Evaluate the claim based on the type of loss
- Give advice
- Manage complaints when they arise and escalate where needed to senior management
- Liaise with suppliers and liaise with outside adjuster for claims exceeding authority
- Prepare and issue payments
- **_Record_**:
- Record insurance information
- Investigate and gather necessary documentation/evidence for verification
- Estimate loss or damage amounts, revising reserves as needed during investigation
- Notify insurers of claims with questionable coverage for evaluation
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Fluent German
- Customer Service experience
