Credit Risk / Development Finance Underwriter

£35,000 - £60,000 + Bonuses + 3 Days WFH

Manchester City Centre

**Key Responsibilities for the Credit Risk / Development Finance Underwriter / Credit Risk**
- Support the design & implementation of the lenders strategy in development finance.
credit proposals for presentation to Sanctioning Committee.
- Proactively manage all transactions from credit assessment through sanction to
completion including documentation formalities and stage wise drawdowns.
- Operational responsibility for the annual review process of owned credit portfolio loans
to ensure that all borrowing requirements and covenants are being adhered to.
- Manage the review, assessment, investigation and minimising of credit risks associated
Undertake site visits as required.
- Monitoring of existing loan portfolio, identifying early arrears or potential problem
accounts and making necessary recommendations.
- Ensure the credit decisions are made within regulatory standards and adhere to TCF
principles and Customer First standards.
- To provide support to the Chief Credit Officer in all operational areas of
Development Finance in the Credit Department.
- Presentation to Credit Committee and other respective committees( Such as CWG
**Skills/ Experience Required for the Credit Risk / Development Finance Underwriter / Credit Risk**
- Min 2 years of experience in Development finance
- Advanced technical skills and experience in the structuring of Development Finance
Transactions to achieve best outcomes for customers
- Proven track record of underwriting development finance deals in a commercial banking,
