**Business Development Manager (Maternity Cover) - Leeds**

Carter Murray have exclusively partnered with an industry leader in the consultancy sector who are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, based in Leeds, with knowledge of digital marketing and external and internal communications to join thebusiness at a critical stage in their growth plans following covid.

**Role Overview**

You will report to the office Managing Partner and wider partner group to shape and deliver the go to market strategy to support growth plans, supporting in developing and implementing marketing and business development. You'll be encouraged to identifyand draw attention to opportunities for enhancing their delivery and providing additional services to organisations they work with. You will be responsible for marketing and business development activities and offer dedicated support across all practices forboth current and potential clients product sales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide oversight of all local marketing activity to ensure it is aligned to and supports the local strategy and lead on monthly sales team meetings with key stakeholders.
- Work with the PR team/external agencies to develop media relationships and build profile for team
- Leverage regional and national issues led campaigns to build relationships with quality businesses that fit with Yorkshire and North East growth plans
- Provide bid support and challenge to internal teams throughout the bid cycle, using best practice tools and ensuring opportunities are qualified appropriately
- Ensure client feedback is gathered using firm-wide mechanisms and that there is an agreed plan for resolution for isolated and trend issues

**Desired skills/experiences**
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Marketing experience within a professional services environment
- Working with a CRM system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Confident to challenge and share ideas
- Use of social media channels
