- Our client, a well-regarded accounting and business advisory firm, offers an exciting role for an Accounts Senior within their Agriculture and Property team. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with an attractive salary and comprehensive company benefits. This role calls for an enthusiastic qualified or part-qualified accountant to join the dynamic services team.

**Responsibilities**
- Take ownership of work and deadline management, aligning with budgets and maintaining consistent communication.
- Assume a "Lead staff" role for a small client portfolio, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring smooth workflow. Identify opportunities for additional billable work.
- Prepare and review accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies based on client records.
- Assist clients with transitioning to Cloud-based financial record keeping solutions.
- Prepare corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, capital gains tax computations, IHT, and related tasks as required.
- Participate in networking and business generation under senior team guidance.
- Support managers and partners as part of a dedicated client service team, promptly addressing client queries and assisting with advisory work.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- ACA / ACCA fully or partially qualified, or AAT qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in accounts preparation and related business tax computations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Openness to learning and considering broader contexts
- Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication
