Graduate Trainee Accountant

My client a market leader in their industry sector are seeking a Graduate Trainee Accountant to join their finance team based in Windsor. The team operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and this role will be focused on being a proactive business partnerwhilst assisting the business leaders with their accounting and compliance responsibilities.

This role is suitable for a recent graduate looking to excel with their ACCA/ACA/CIMA studies. As the Trainee Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis across different areas of the business.

This role is the fast track to becoming a qualified accountant This role offers full study support as well as the flexibility of hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitoring reconciling the bank accounts
- Invoice approval and posting and managing the supplier payment runs
- Reconciling the bank, intercompany, suspense accounts, fixed assets and VAT accounts
- Calculating and paying monthly inter-company amounts
- Managing the daily cash requirements of the Group
- Preparing monthly prepayments and accruals schedules and postings to the accounting system
- Preparing monthly lease journals, investment, and derivative journals
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and preparing the Group VAT return Supporting the Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts and the budgeting processes

Person Specification
- Related Degree Level Qualification
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Studier
- A maximum of one year in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
