Pharmacy Assistant- Hmp Altcourse

**About The Role**:
Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract at HMP Altcourse and will begin delivering services in April 2023. HMP Altcourse is a Category B men's private prison and Young Offender Institution in the Fazakerley area of Liverpool in Merseyside, England. It has an operational capacity of 1164 people and houses 7 residential units, a 12 bed inpatient unit, as well as an-site dispensing pharmacy. HMP Altcourse is a 20 minute drive from main train stations and is located closely to Aintree University Hospital.
As a Pharmacy Assistant you will complete general dispensary duties and stock management. You will be working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to ensure delivery of the pharmaceutical service. You will provide a timely and efficient service to the prison wings. You will receive prescriptions and stick returns from wing based clinical areas. You will collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of return.

**About You**:
You will have obtained an NVQ Level 2 and undertake CPD.
If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for you

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £24,557
