**About The Role**:
Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract at HMP Altcourse and will begin delivering services in April 2023. HMP Altcourse is a Category B men's private prison and Young Offender Institution in the Fazakerley area of Liverpool in Merseyside, England. It has an operational capacity of 1164 people and houses 7 residential units, a 12 bed inpatient unit, as well as an-site dispensing pharmacy. HMP Altcourse is a 20 minute drive from main train stations and is located closely to Aintree University Hospital.
We’re looking for an innovative Paramedic, who thrives on a challenge to provide high-quality emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients in both primary care and acute care needs in a prison setting - performing procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound care and cardiac & CVA intervention.

**About You**:
With the ability to think on your feet and a flexible attitude, you’ll be a qualified paramedic with current HCPC registration. Capable of demonstrating initiative, you’ll have proven post-registration experience in any of these following clinical areas: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments, Minor Injuries / Illness Units.

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £41,800 per annum - dependent on experience. We offer a whole host of additional benefits such as: cycle to work scheme, free uniform, an extensive training and development structure for all employees along with an employee recognition scheme.
