**Weekly hours**:36 Hours

**Salary**: £21,498 FTE

**Position Summary**

This position sits within a number of services that specialise in working with people who live with dementia. The work is predominantly within a day support setting across a number of sites. This role is a supervisory role with responsibility for both staff and paying customers.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Working with the Services Cluster Manager to ensure that the workplace is run according to standards and legislation.
- Working with the Services Cluster Manager to ensure that there is a range of therapeutic activities suitable for the customer group.
- Developing and reviewing of support plans that outline what care and support customers need.
- Working in partnership with other professionals to ensure customers get the support they need.
- Managing and supporting Activities Assistants so they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability.
- Leading team meetings and doing inductions, supervisions and appraisals.
- Providing comprehensive written reports as required.
- Maximise revenue by ensuring full customer occupancy within the centres.

**Duties**
- Achieve the level of computer competency as required for the role.
- Participate in and contribute to the organisation’s activities, events and meetings.
- Undertake other duties which may be required by the organisation that are consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the role.

**Training**

The organisation is committed to support continuous professional development (CPD). There is an expectation that the post holder will complete mandatory and role specific training within the probationary period and maintain a level of competence throughout their employment with us. Training includes Safeguarding, GDPR and Health and Safety. This list is not exhaustive.

**Essential Skills and Attributes**
- This role requires an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory and team leading experience.
- Commercial acumen, an ability to ensure operational stability and growth.
- The ability to write reports in a clear, factual and concise manner.
- The ability to deal with conflict.
- To demonstrate the ability to act as a positive role model and lead by example.
- Access to a vehicle for work purposes.
- To demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision and values of the organisation.
- To demonstrate professionalism, whilst having a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
