About** the role**

As the Campus Operations Administrator you will be a key part of the Campus Team at Bath Spa University Campus in Hoxton, East London. You will provide professional administration services and general technical support for all taught programmes and events. The postholder will have reception duties and will act as the first point of contact for students, lecturers and visitors to Bath Spa University London campus.

The postholder reports directly to the Campus Manager, but works closely with the Academic Director and Course Directors on a daily basis on all aspects of managing their programmes. In order to fulfil these functions, the postholder is required to establish, develop and maintain strong working relationships with academics and professional services staff.

You will have a role in the administration and management of campus resources and timetables. You will work with data from multiple sources, co-ordinating attendance records. You will work across numerous university systems, helping ensure services are effective and efficient and compliant with University policies and regulations.

**About you (requirements)**

Ideally you will have a background in Higher Education, but if you don’t it's not a problem. We are interested in enthusiastic individuals with a positive and proactive approach to supporting students in an ever changing environment. You will possess strong administrative, data analysis and organisational skills and a flexible can-do attitude.

As the go-to person and referral point for students, lecturers and visitors alike, you will pull upon your previous administrative, student support or customer service experience and your ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet tight deadlines. Experienced at working with complex data, taking the lead in resolving difficult and complex scenarios, you will show your ability to use your own initiative and respond appropriately to situations as they arise.

You’ll enjoy communicating clearly and effectively as you deal with a wide variety of people across the University. You’ll have an eye for detail and ability to work at pace with accuracy, which is essential for written communications and for maintaining student records.

You will need to demonstrate excellent levels of customer service, be able to manage workload on a priority basis from a number of sources and be able to communicate effectively through a variety of platforms. You will be expected to communicate with all stakeholders in a positive and proactive manner. You must ensure commercial enquiries are not only captured and converted, but that the student journey is an excellent one.
