Cawingredients have a great opportunity for a Dispatch Clerk to join our successful Soft Drinks Manufacturing Business.

The position is to act as the point of contact for hauliers collecting shipments from the warehouse, arrange paperwork for inbound and outbound loads and arrange shipping of loads using the warehouse management systems, ensuring fast, efficient and accurate turnaround of collections.

We are looking for someone to join our team who has had previous experience, or undertaking a similar role in a Transport/Despatch/ or Warehousing environment.

Key Accountabilities:

- Liaise with the security gatehouse to allow entry for hauliers in line with the booking schedule/customer requirements.
- Book hauliers in as they arrive and allocate the correct paperwork.
- Direct drivers to the correct collection point on arrival.
- Arrange timely loading of vehicles to minimise waiting times in line with performance targets.
- Allocate orders using the Company’s IT platforms and warehouse management systems.
- Efficiently and accurately despatch deliveries with any relevant delivery paperwork and other information as required, including any Customs documentation which may be required from time to time.
- Process shipments with a high degree of accuracy ensuring that full traceability compliance is met and that the consignment meets the customer order in full.
- Ensure that paperwork is correctly completed and endorsed by drivers.
- Print despatch notes as required.
- Ensure that manifests and shipping notes are neatly and accurately stored and archived.
- Liaise with the Transport team to ensure that loads are collected on time.
- Assist with the completion and housekeeping of the haulier booking in and collection schedule.
- Assist with the completion of goods inward booking schedule, as required from time to time.
- Assist with record-keeping, data entry and completion of departmental KPIs.
- Assist with general office administration tasks such updating of health & safety files/records and maintaining databases.
- Process paperwork for equipment and goods inward deliveries.
- Occasional duties assisting the Transport team to process orders and allocate hauliers for loads, covering Transport Planners when absent.
- Any other duties or tasks as per management instruction.
