Cawingredients have a great opportunity for a Dispatch Clerk to join our successful Soft Drinks Manufacturing Business. The post is newly created to support the growth of the business. The position is required to support the Warehousing/ Distribution and Transport function on a weekend, with day to day administration tasks. 6am-6pm Saturday and Sunday.

We operate from a state of the art facility in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire.

We are looking for someone to join our team who has had previous experience, or undertaking a similar role in a Transport/Dispatch/ or Warehousing environment.

Key Accountabilities:

- Liaising with the security gatehouse to allow entry for hauliers in line with the booking schedule/customer requirements.
- Booking hauliers in as they arrive and allocate the correct paperwork.
- Directing drivers to the correct collection point on arrival.
- Arranging timely loading of vehicles to minimise waiting times.
- Allocating picks using the Company’s IT platform (Accelos).
- Efficiently and accurately despatching deliveries with any relevant delivery paperwork and other information as required.
- Ensuring that paperwork is correctly completed/endorsed by drivers.
- Printing despatch notes as required.
- Archiving paperwork as needed.
- Liaising with the Transport Planners to ensure that all loads are collected on time.
- Assisting with completion of haulier booking in/collection schedule.
- Assisting with completion of goods inward booking schedule.
- Assisting with record-keeping and completion of customer/haulier KPIs as required.
- Assisting with general office administration tasks eg updating of health & safety files/records, maintaining databases.
- Processing paperwork for equipment and goods-in deliveries.
- Occasional duties assisting the transport team to process orders and allocate hauliers for loads, covering Transport Planners when absent.
- Any other duties or tasks as per management instruction.
