**Territory Manager**

You will be working for a National Foodservice organisation selling food, non food and catering equipment into professional kitchens.

This a great opportunity for anyone looking to get into a field sales position who comes form a profession catering background or is a massive foodie

**Area**: This is a home-based position covering an area surrounding Chelmsford

**Type of Products/Services**:
An extensive range of over 700 products, including: frozen, chilled, ambient and non-food goods.

This is a home-based field-based field sales role looking after around 70 trading accounts, with a turnover of approximately £1.300,000. Calling on 4 to 5 calls per day using a 1-to-12-week call cycle. (This is a rough guide only) There is lots of potentialto up sell within the existing client base and grow new accounts.

The Territory Manager will be responsible for their own appointment making. On average the Business Manager will be working on the road at least 4 Days a week.

You will be dealing with the decision maker of the business this can be anybody from the head chef, manager, buyer, and owner.

Each external salesperson will be working alongside an internal telesales person who will do the day-to-day order taking. You will be dealing with the decision maker of the business this can be anybody from the head chef, manager, buyer, and owner.

You will have complete autonomy over your customers. You will also have the power to negotiate within the margins that you have.

**Market: The Primary function will be to**Selling to a diverse range of end users but primarily this territory had been more on education. There is a huge scope for growth as social clubs to pubs, restaurants, hotels, nursing homes, hospitals,schools, colleges, leisure facilities, county councils, local authorities, garden centres and contract caterers. - Anywhere with a professional kitchen.

**Split between New & Established**: 70% account management and 30% new business.

Background: Salesperson who is a foodie or a strong Chef that has the ability for sales or somebody that has an interest in selling into the markets.
