Our Client, a FTSE100 company now has an exciting opportunity to join their sustainability team. You will join a business that has a huge commitment to sustainability and innovation across their group businesses.

**Role Profile**:
The Sustainability Advisor will be integral in supporting the delivery of the companies Sustainability Strategy with a clear focus on preparation for legislative change.

Reporting to the divisional Head of Sustainability the role will support implementation of reporting, ongoing administration of sustainability projects and provide effective support on wider sustainability initiatives across our UK retail division.

The person fulfilling this role should be approachable, thorough, methodical, self-disciplined, logical and able to critically analyse information provided to them.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support ongoing development of reporting processes across the division in line with legislative requirement (Extended Producer Responsibility, Waste Packaging (PRN), Market Restrictions etc).
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support data entry requirements for environmental management processes. This may include direct liaison with Suppliers to ensure compliance with and accuracy in data collection process.
- Assist with the preparation and production of sustainability reports as required.
- Support with information gathering for tender submissions, creation of internal and external resources and other sustainability related requirements.
- Manage availability of sustainability resources, such as leaflets and fact sheets through an internal self-serve SharePoint.
- Work closely with relevant colleagues to drive sustainability across the businesses.

**Experience & Qualifications required**:

- Administrative experience is critical, ideally within a specific technical and/or compliance field
- Effective numeracy, literacy, and word processing skills (GCSE/ Equivalent Maths and English Grade C or above)
- Competent in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills with strong analytical skills.

**Would be advantageous to offer**:

- Experience in sustainability environment
- A working knowledge on key current sustainability issues
- Consumable or FMCG Supply Chain knowledge
