**About us**
James A Jobling and Company Limited is a successful family owned manufacturing business in Newcastle upon Tyne.
This is a general office admin role covering a wide range of tasks that will include assisting the sales team with customers, both in person and on the phone and assisting the purchase ledger team with incoming invoices and delivery notes.
**Some of the main duties will include**:
- Answering customer queries on sales orders
- Serving customers on site, taking cash or card payments where applicable
- Matching of delivery notes to purchase invoices
- Input of information from delivery notes into spreadsheets
- Entry of invoices to purchase ledger system
- Answering the phones, photocopying and filing of documents
- Various other ad hoc admin tasks
Full training will be provided on all aspects of the job
- Sound knowledge of the basic functions of Microsoft Excel
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills & telephone manner
- Ability to multi-task
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Be a team player and willing to help colleagues
- Previous, recent experience in an office environment
Working hours are 7.30-4.00pm Monday-Friday - 37.5 hours per week with 1 hour lunch break. The start time is not negotiable.

**Salary**: £21,500.00-£22,500.00 per year
