Management Accountant

Reed Accountancy are partnering with a well established trading company who are currently looking to recruit a proactive and experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their small London finance team.
DUTIES OF THE ROLE
To support the trading accounting activities with responsibilities including the preparation and analysis of daily trading reports, broker reconciliations and cash risk requirements.
Supporting treasury and accounts payable with tasks including cash management, processing of payments and bank transactions, Foreign Exchange reconciliations and non trade invoices. Also assisting with tax returns and VAT analysis.
Supporting month-end reporting which includes posting of journal entries, reconciliation of balance sheets, reporting and also assist in year-end reporting, actively supporting opportunities to digitalise processes whilst ensuring data integrity.
Ensure that a robust system of internal controls exists to satisfy internal year-end Financial Reporting Compliance (FRS) audits and FCA regulations in a timely manner including updating process controls as the need arises.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Previous experience of progressive accounting in an operational and corporate environment is required
It would be an advantage to have expertise in working with SAP and also proficiency in Microsoft Excel
A solid understanding of management accounting rules
