For this reason, we're looking to bring in our team a talented Strategy & Insight Executive, someone who can be trusted with research, strategy support, persona development and pitch writing.
With a minimum of 12 month's experience in the relevant field.
**Overview of the role**
The Strategy & Insight Executive at Influence Digital will report to the Head of Strategy & Business Development, in addition to working closely with all departments spanning creative, accounts and paid to develop strategic and insightful approaches to all the work Influence Digital delivers; in addition to delivering social media strategies and new business proposals for clients.
The Insight & Strategy team leads strategic insights and research for the whole agency spanning all sectors including music, entertainment, not-for-profit. The department supports the creative, paid and accounts teams for a range of areas including one-off strategies, business/ project planning for large campaigns, yearly planning, always-on content and messaging, troubleshooting and problem solving.
A key focus of the role will be analysing insight from data sources such as Audiense, YouGov Direct and whitepapers to determine trends, patterns, and opportunities. It will be important that you can think about how insights can be used to inform strategies, identify key audiences - how we should be developing content and where we should be posting. As such, a passion and knowledge of data and insight is a must.
You will be supporting in the development of proposals, briefs, and strategies. Working alongside the Head of Strategy with identifying audiences, defining the objectives and approaches, coming up with creative executions and putting together slides.
**Skills and Experience**
**Research & Analysis**
- Conducting analysis using multiple data sources (e.g. paid &social media analytics, cultural trends, desk research)
- Conduct research for clients including identifying influencers, content examples and competitor analysis
- Should have the ability to make connections and identify anomalies or trends
- Has experience analysing audience data across social media and digital
- Naturally curious and likes to ask questions
- Ability to make strategic deductions based on reviewing a variety of data
- Interest in audience behaviours and getting inside the head of the clients’ consumers
- Has experience in doing market research such as surveys, running focus groups, interviewing participants, and leading on informal feedback sessions from user groups
**Finger on the pulse**
- Understanding of how social media and digital works - what works and why
- Understand social media trends and how social media platforms operate - can use this insight to develop strategic approaches
**Strategic Writing**
- Has the ability to write insightful summaries and strategic statements - can formulate cohesive analysis and suggestions
- Can support in creative brainstorming and is adept at being able to follow up with notes & actions
- Should have some experience in creative writing that can be useful when developing strategic documents such as personas or brand narratives
**Strategy work**
- Ability to develop insight into ideas and tactics that can work across variety of mediums including social, digital and OOH
- Developing new business proposals and supporting in the strategic ideas for our clients - leveraging insights, creative & strategic thinking throughout development, building powerful narratives with multiple data sources
- Ability to think about how strategies can be implemented in real-life for our clients using social media marketing
- Must be able to support in developing well-informed and effective strategic plans
- Has a basic understanding of what might be included within a strategy - audience, purpose, content pillars, approach, and deployment suggestions
- Comfortable contributing to proposal decks, specifically the audience and strategy section when required
