About your new Mechanics job in Aberdeen:

- The Mechanics will be responsible for inspection, maintaining and repairs on vehicles, plant and equipment
- You’ll carry out annual testing (MOT) and conduct Taxi hackney examinations
- Comply with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Complete associated paperwork as required
- There may be a need to occasionally work out with contractual/normal working hours.

Hours of work & pay for the Mechanics role:

- Early week - Mon - Thursday 6am - 14:00pm Friday 6am - 13:30pm
- Late week - Mon - Thursday 14:00pm -22:00pm Friday 11:30am - 19:00pm
- Initial contract will be for 12 weeks with immediate start
- £15.75 PAY + Holiday pay + Pension contribution
- You’ll also join the out of hours on-call breakdown rota.

About you:
You must be a fully qualified time-served Mechanic
- City and Guilds - Motor Vehicle engineering (3905) or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Preferably have a Mot examiner Certification or training may be offered by the client
- You’ll be a good communicator, able to work on your own initiative and be customer focussed.
