Tractor Driver/feed Wagon Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tractor Operator to join our team. As a Tractor Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining tractors and other heavy equipment.

Our business:
We are a progressive forward-thinking family run business. We have 2 dairy farms situated a mile from each other with a total of 900 cows and another 800 followers. Our cows are fully housed all year and are fed a high quality TMR all year round. The majority of youngstock are also housed and fed a TMR. We operate a multi-cut silage system and also grow our own forage maize that is all fed back to the cows. We silage around 650 acres of grass and a further 240 acres of maize which is grown under plastic.

**Duties**:

- Operate tractors and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on tractors and equipment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Feeding all dairy cows and youngstock

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating tractors or similar heavy equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
