**Position overview**

The British disabled flying charity, Aerobility, is looking for an enthusiastic and personable individual to join our friendly team as a full time Front Desk Receptionist. As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for directing the majority of incoming communication. Most excitingly, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Aerobility’s day to day flight operations. The role also offers you the unique opportunity to witness the magic and wonder of flight and the impact it has on our participants. In this role you are guaranteed to finish the day knowing that you have made a difference.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Greeting and welcoming guests.
- Receiving and delivering incoming and outgoing mails and packages.
- Operate a range of web-based programs to access personal and safety critical information and bookings.
- Support flight safety by following the out brief process and Emergency Response Procedures.
- Monitoring flights whilst airborne.
- Take bookings for flights or ground activities and ensuring all records are updated pre-and post-activity.
- Liaise with the instructors at the start of the day to establish the suitability for booked flights to go ahead.
- Ensure safe management of Aerobility headsets. Cleaning each one after use.
- Ensure all new and regular visitors identify themselves and their reason for visiting; issuing visitors badges as appropriate.
- Become familiar with all Aerobility policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- On occasions you may be required to open and close the buildings at the beginning and end of day.
- Keeping a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Other administrative duties as required.

**Key skills and abilities**:

- Strong computer skills including MS Office proficiency.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and to work independently.
- Great soft skills. Empathetic, friendly personality.
- Professional approach to work.
- Flexible approach to activities and operational service requirements.
- Good customer service attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good time management and organisational skills.

Experience in similar role or in aviation is preferred, but not essential. Full training is provided.

**Reports to**: Facilities Manager

**Location**: Aerobility Blackbushe Airport, Camberley, GU17 9LQ

**Contract**:Full time 37.5 hours a week

**Salary**:£10.52 - £11.79 per hour

**Office Hours**: The Front Desk Reception is covered between 09.00 - 17.30 Monday to Saturday with 1 hour lunch break. You will be required to work 5 days a week including every other Saturday.
