John G Mackintosh who are an electrical and mechanical contractor are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their Edinburgh office John G MacKintosh started out in 1907 as a small family run business and they are now based in two locations, one in Perth and one in Edinburgh. JGM have a fantastic track record across a wide range of construction sectors including; Electrical and Information Technology, Mechanical Services, Facilities Management and Environmental and sustainable solutions.

The position requires working closely with our Management and Projects team and is responsible for ensuring that all administration tasks are carried out in a timely and effective manner. You may also be required to provide administration support to the wider business when required.

Salary; £15,000 - £16,000

Hours of work; Core working hours for this position are from 8am until 5pm, Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am-3pm.

**Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to;**
- Using Word to create O&M manuals/documents and health & Safety files
- Updating spreadsheets using EXCEL
- Merging documents, editing, bookmarking, linking pages within documents using Adobe PDF
- Utilizing a bespoke software system to create electrical certifications
- Creating labels online by Data Entry
- Answering the telephone
- The role will also involve printing documents and drawings

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- High level or professionalism, self-motivation and organisation
- Confident in liaising with both office and site personnel if required.
- Attention to detail and likes problem solving
