The University of Chester is seeking to appoint an Outreach and WP Lead - Equality and Diversity (Maternity Cover), to join the University’s Outreach Team, based within the Directorate of Access, Skills and Apprenticeships (DASA).

You will be part of the Outreach team and will be responsible for, along with the other Outreach and WP leads, Access and Participation Plan activity undertaken by the Outreach Team. This involves acting as a point of contact for allocated Faculties of the University, whilst also leading on specifically designated projects that seek to widen participation for underrepresented groups. They will also be responsible for ensuring resources and support are available to enable the team to achieve objectives set by the role holder, in relation to their specific area of responsibility, Equal Opportunities.

A full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel are also required.
- Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to integrate diversity and inclusion into all aspects of the organization
- Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards diversity goals
- Lead training programs to promote awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion issues
- Provide guidance and support to employee resource groups
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in diversity and inclusion

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of HR systems such as Workday, Dayforce, Taleo, Paychex, SAP, or PeopleSoft
- Proficiency in data analysis skills to collect, analyze, and interpret diversity-related data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Note: This is a contract position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £30,487.00-£32,982.00 per year
