We pride ourselves on high quality, focussed and standards based training.

Position - Assistive Technology Trainer:
Visit customers to install and train them in the use of their assistive hardware and software. This includes Text to Speech, Voice Recognition, Mind Mapping and Screen Reading software, Magnifiers and Dictaphones.

Background:
Work experience requirements:

- A good all-round knowledge of computer hardware and software, both PC and Apple Mac.
- Teaching or training, especially young people and adults, who have learning and / or physical disabilities.
- Ability to quickly learn new software and hardware.
- Ability to plan and adapt lessons and deliver context based training.
- Office procedures such as form-filling, record-keeping and expenses submission.
- Book appointments and keep records of progress, including learning development plans.
- The preferred applicant will have experience and knowledge of assistive technologies and methods of training delivery.

Expectations:

- Must be Polite, Professional and Patient.
- Must pass a CRB check and be of impeccable character.
- Must be pro-active in keeping own training skills up to date and attend update sessions at HQ when required.
- Monitor developments within the assistive technology environment and keep a record of personal development and experience to demonstrate continual improvement.
- Be able to adapt and deliver customer centred training reflective of the individuals disability and learning style.
- Analyse the assessment report and create an individual learning plan.
- Have reliable transport and a willingness to travel
- Must adhere to company standards of Dress Code and conduct.
- Maintain good communications to the office whilst on-site and return paperwork or administrational documentation in an efficient manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance

**Salary**: From £30.00 per hour
