Veterinary Receptionist

We are looking for receptionists to work in our new veterinary travel clinic based in New Malden due to open in late September/early October. This is a permanent role, working 2-3 days a week from 9am-7pm, with no OOH or weekends. This is a job share role with another receptionist, so you will be required to cover while the other receptionist is on annual leave.

**The role**:

- Welcoming pet owners and their pets into the clinic
- Helping to print and organise documents
- Taking payments
- Updating client records on our IT system
- Maintaining and re-stocking the small retail area
- Supporting the rest of the team with admin tasks
- Cleaning duties (hoovering and cleaning the floor at the end of each day)

**Experience and skills**:

- Strong communication and organisational skills (most of the time it will be just yourself and the vet(s) at the clinic so we need someone highly organised and happy working independently)
- Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 1 year working in customer service (preferably at a veterinary practice, but not essential)
- Enjoy working with animals
