We are recruiting for a **Service Coordinator** within our International Family Tracing team based in Manchester. You'll have responsibility for coordinating a small team of volunteers and delivering quality casework within Manchester and surroundingareas. You'll be working with beneficiaries, maintaining and organising the casework load and further developing the services. You'll undertake a range of duties designed to maintain, promote and improve this valuable service. You will be responsible for inducting,training and supporting new and existing volunteers.

**How you'll make a difference **
Reporting to the International Family Tracing Service Manager and within a peer group of Service Co-ordinators, you will manage the service delivery and contribute to the service development. You'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining safe, highquality, needs-led services and will work collaboratively with volunteers, potential service users and other agencies in the provision of service delivery, development, and promotion. The International Family Tracing service helps people look for family members,restore contact, reunite families and seeks to clarify the fate of those who remain missing.
**The role might be for you if**:

- You have experience co-ordinating, supervising and motivating volunteers.
- You have a good working knowledge of person-centred casework and service user's needs, including experience of working with service users who have experienced trauma
- You have a demonstrable understanding of how to monitor and improve service quality for the benefits of users and you can contribute to the development and achievement of operation plans.
- You have the ability to maintain accurate records, file management and has meticulous attention to detail.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You have the ability to build strong and effective alliances and relationships.
- You have an awareness of current affairs, including conflict situations, and a general knowledge, understanding or experience of safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults policies.

The Restoring Family Links service helps people look for family members, restore contact, reunite families and seeks to clarify the fate of those who remain missing.
Services include:

- International Family Tracing - working with the ICRC and other national societies around the world to locate people and put them back into contact with their relatives
- Family reunion - reuniting families who have been separated and have been allowed by the Home Office to join their families in the UK
- Travel assistance for refugees whose families live overseas and have been granted a visa to come to the UK
