Which is where you come in
About The Role:
- Complete goods inward inspections utilising CMM, Vision systems and handheld instruments.
- Completing in-process / final inspections from the production line.
- Manage / prioritise workload using daily sales and forecasting reports in a fast-paced environment.
- Liaising with internal sales teams over priorities.
- Preparing inspection reports for customer sample submissions.
- Creating CMM programs for new items.
- Raising supplier Non-conformance reports.
- Gaining an in-depth knowledge of the relative product specific international standards.
About You:
- GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics
- Mechanical engineering background
- Must be IT literate, as well as using MS office will be required to work specific measuring instruments using different software packages
- Previous experience operating and programming a of a CMM
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings
