**Your role**
- Checking info box - daily
- Checking LAA - daily
- HMCTS uploading/downloading documents (however sometimes access can be restricted)
- Preparing letters to send to clients.
- Preparing statement with the assistance of the line manager
- Drafting court documents
- Notice of Acting/Issue
- Opening/closing cases on LEAP - Compliance checks/conflict interest
- Filling out preliminary documents
- Tidying files in LEAP
- Booking consultation
- Finding counsel for court hearings

**Desired skills**
- **4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's**:

- Confident with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
- Good attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm’s in-house systems where training will be given
- Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
- Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
- The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner
- Good organisational skills
- Good client care skills

- **Paralegal level 3 cilex apprenticeship**

The CILEx Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship is made up of:

- Ethics, professionalism, and legal systems
- Client care and legal research skills
- Law and practice in a field related to the work of the Apprentice
- Administrative duties and working with others in a legal environment.
