If so, we have the perfect role for you as an Events Sales Coordinator at a well-known, central Birmingham based venue, with great growth plans for 2023.

As an Event Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for converting customer enquiries into bookings, utilising your exceptional knowledge of events to ensure that customers receive the best service and have a truly unique experience. Using your excellentattention to detail you will ensure that all details regarding customers and their requirements are recorded accurately, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. Quickly building rapport with potential customers, you will talk through the appropriateoptions, upselling additional services, arranging initial event logistics and liaising across different departments within the venue. Alongside the Sales Manager, you will consistently deliver excellent and well-informed customer service in a well-mannered,friendly, and helpful way, maximising sales opportunities.

On a daily basis your role will entail ensuring all incoming calls about events and conferences are answered and enquires are met with polite and well-informed answers, aiming to turn initial enquires into bookings. Building strong working relationshipswith both internal and external partners, you will work well as part of a team, collaborating with the in-house technical team in the planning of events to ensure their smooth running, as well as occasionally supervising events on the day, going above andbeyond for your customers.

To thrive in this role, excellent customer service and sales skills will be vital, as you will be the first point of call for potentially high-value customers and bookings. With previous experience in events, sales or conferencing, you will be comfortableworking in a fast-paced environment and to set targets and timescales. Alongside this, you will have the ability to think creatively, helping to shape the strategy and planning of events, ensuring that each event fits the individual customer specification.A natural organiser with a great eye for detail, you will put customer service above all else and have proven experience being able to work well as part of a larger dynamic team, to set targets and timescales.
