Sports Centre Receptionist

Reporting to 5ives Office Manager/Directors this role will involve acting as the first point of contact for visitors to 5ives Football Facility. You will be responsible for ensuring our users and guests receive a warm and friendly welcome and any queries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. The post holder will also deal with league, birthday, tournament, coaching and rental enquiries as well as carry out administrative and cleaning duties.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**
- To provide excellent customer service to our users and guests.
- To facilitate league, birthday, tournament, coaching and rental enquiries and carry out all associated administrative duties.
- To ensure the pitches, carpark, grounds, toilets and dressing room areas are maintained to a high standard during each shift.
**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
Greet all visitors to 5ives, ensuring they are made welcome and ascertaining their requirements, assisting them with general information or passing them on to the appropriate person.
Ensure high levels of customer care and service delivery from the main reception.
Accurately process bookings via computer system in a timely manner.Ensure that all financial transactions are completed accurately.
Complete daily Financial administrative tasks.
To provide support to the Manager or Management Team. This could include any of the following: - Weekly/monthly reports, posters/notices, letters - general correspondence, booking sheets, maintaining staff records, marketing initiatives, standard forms, stock reporting, minutes from meetings and filing duties.
To ensure the reception area is constantly neat and tidy thus projecting a professional image.
To collect payment for the hire or usage of sports facilities/equipment and to ensure that all cash issues, collections, financial transactions and cash up are carried out accurately.
To control ancillary facilities such as lighting,heating, hot water, exit gate and security cameras which are linked to the main reception.
To control equipment, stock and cleaning product levels and request new stock where required.
Assist with the development and training of the Casual and Part time Reception Staff. To actively promote the various deals and promotional offers available.
To maintain and clean all equipment
Carry out daily cleaning tasks in the office, kitchenette, toilets, changing rooms, pitches, vending area and grounds to maintain a safe, clean and hygienic facilities
Responsible for the safety and enjoyment of our customers whilst using the facilities
To ensure Safeguarding and Health & Safety procedures are being followed
Able to seek solutions and resolve problems, as and when they arise
To inform the Manager of health and safety or security issues which require immediate action
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: From £8.17 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
