Home Care and Support Worker

Home Care and Support Worker required to join small team, working with adults in their own homes within East Renfrewshire.

**£15/hour** plus **45p/mile travel allowance** (£12/hour if providing overnight care).

28 days pro rata **paid annual leave.**

Company **pension scheme.**

Hours can be negotiated to suit your situation.

Highly rewarding work supporting individuals to have a comfortable and fulfilling life in their own home. Duties include:

- Administration of medication.
- Assistance with personal care.
- Shopping.
- Meal preparation.
- Companionship.
- Taking service users to appointments and social events.
- Supporting service users to maintain contact with the wider community, their family and friends.
- Engaging in activities with service users e.g. reading, cards, games and music.
- Light housework and laundry.
- Record keeping and communication with wider team and other health care professionals.

**Requirements**:
Must Drive
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
