We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Healthcare Assistant to join our close-knit team.

**Job Overview**: As a Home Care Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to individuals in East Renfrewshire and Glasgow Southside. You will assist with personal care, moving and assisting, nutritional support, skin care, and medication support on an individual person-centred basis. This role offers both full-time and part-time contracted hours, with opportunities for additional hours. Immediate starts are available for successful applicants.

**Important to note: Sponsorship of overseas applicants is not available.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes, adhering to individual care plans and preferences.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, ensuring dignity, respect, and safety at all times.
- Engage in companionship and befriending activities to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including any changes in condition or medication administration.
- Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Genuine desire to make a difference to older people in their own homes, with or without previous care experience.
- Well-organized, friendly, compassionate, energetic, and highly motivated individual with a "can-do" attitude.
- Effective communicator with good listening skills, patience, and proven time-management abilities.
- UK driving licence and access to own car much preferred for operational flexibility.
- Willingness to undergo a Disclosure Scotland vetting check and register with SSSC.
- Availability to work core hours between 7:30 AM - 1:15 PM and 3:45 PM - 9:15 PM daily, including every second weekend.
