The Offender Health Directorate is one of the largest and most successful providers of prison healthcare in the UK. The Directorate provide physical, mental health and substance misuse healthcare services in prisons across the East Midlands, Lincolnshire & Leicestershire. You will be supported by a clinical lead offering regular supervision and will work with colleagues in other prisons. You will be working with the clinical lead to develop this new service, establishing care pathways and developing resources.
You and the team will focus on equity and continuity of care for people with neurodevelopmental conditions. You will be supported by your clinical lead to improve the outcomes of people with neurodiverse needs in HMP Lowdham Grange. The Directorate provides healthcare to 9 Prisons and one Immigration Removal Centre in the counties of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. As such you are part of a large peer group of 400+ healthcare professionals with access to appropriate peer support, supervision and excellent opportunities for learning and development.
