The opportunity to be part of a friendly and supportive team of Care Assistants

**Duties will include**:
Enabling and motivating Clients to get the most out of their day

Personal care

Administering and/or prompting medication

Assisting Clients with washing and dressing

Shopping

Meal preparation

Light Housekeeping

Companionship (spending social time with Clients)

Taking Clients for appointments or outings

**Requirements of a Care Assistant**:
Be available for daytime/early mornings/evenings/alternate weekends (various shifts patterns available to suit you)

Hold a full and valid driving licence and have access to own vehicle as the post involves traveling to and from client homes not all of which are within walking distance of each other or well serviced by public transport.

Ideally possess professional qualifications such as an SVQ2/SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent BUT THIS IS NOT ESSENTIAL as we provide training.

Current registration with the Scottish Social Services council is also desirable although this can be done when onboarding with us.

Ideally hold Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership - applicants must be willing to undertake a PVG update with Right at Home as a counter-signatory prior to starting in post.
