**Role Overview**:
To act as a Safeguarding and Education Welfare Advisor, working with children, families and providing specialist knowledge and expertise to schools and education settings. This role ranges from working closely with senior leaders to improve practice within their school or setting by providing advice and consultancy, to facilitating reflective safeguarding supervision and working directly with children and families to safeguard and improve outcomes for children and families on behalf of the school.
**Salary and employee benefits**:
- £27,000 - £32,000 Pro Rata term time only + 2 weeks (based on experience)
- Full time role, 37.5 hours a week (term time only + 2 weeks)
- A day off for your birthday or a significant other’s birthday

**Empowering Communities**:You'll play a vital role in safeguarding and uplifting the lives of children and families. You will play a crucial part in advocating for and championing the voices of children and young people.
**Advocating Excellence**: You'll be the champion of best practices in safeguarding and attendance, influencing positive change in educational settings and organisations working with children.
**Fuelling Collaboration**: Forge strong partnerships between schools and relevant agencies, ensuring a seamless flow of support and resources. Modelling respectful professional curiosity and challenge.
**Stay at the Cutting Edge**:Keep ahead of the curve by staying up to date with the latest in safeguarding practices, research and mandatory training.
**Be the Change-Maker**:Influence policy revisions in line with evolving government directives and provide critical updates to colleagues and customers.
