**The Roles**
"Providing specialist property advice for and on behalf of the Council in the timely delivery of a caseload of asset management activities. Senior Surveyors also provide support to less experienced and unqualified Surveyors."
**Duties Include**:
- Asset review, acquisition and disposal activities for all purposes.
- Valuation of all types of Council owned property for annual asset valuation in accordance with prevailing CIPFA & RICS practice standards and general valuation advice for all purposes.
- All estate management related issues arising from both the operational and non-operational property portfolios as set out in the Landlord and Tenant Acts and in the delivery of community led services through the Councils Community Lease process
- All asset related activities supporting the delivery of the Councils Asset Management Strategy and associated plans.
**What They're Looking For**:
- RICS accredited degree and evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience of working in asset management across a range of property types and for different purposes within a complex customer focussed environment.
- Experience of working corporately, across boundaries and with external partners
- Ability to clearly write and present evidence and reports on complex matters.
