We are currently recruiting for a client based near Accrington who are looking to recruit a Cutting Operative. This will be recruited on a temporary to permanent basis after successfully completing a 13 week period. The company offer a fantastic working environment and an excellent benefits package.

**Duties and responsibilities.**
- Operation of cutting machines and laminator involving running and loading of the machines.
- Reading work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances.
- Calculating meterage required for individual orders with good numerical skills.
- Examining fabric prior to process and checking completed work pieces for defects.
- General maintenance of the cutting machines.
- Complying with the requirements of Health and Safety, other relevant legislation and site policies.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience of working as a machine operative would be beneficial.
- Good attention to detail / high level of accuracy.
- Good IT and numeracy skills.
- Reliable and conscientious with a flexible attitude to work.
- Hours of work - Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 12.45pm.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: £10.45 per hour
