We are currently looking for skilled CNC Saw Operators to fill ongoing contract roles. These positions offer competitive pay rates of £12.64 for day shifts and £16.85 for night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to operate CNC saw machinery with precision and care, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is well-suited for individuals who have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of machinery and production workflows. Candidates should be capable of working autonomously while also being effective team players. Previous experience in quality control, measurement, and inspection processes is highly advantageous. A strong commitment to safety and the ability to maintain focus are crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately follow operational guidelines and safety procedures.
- Ensure that the CNC saw equipment is maintained in optimal condition, with all safety features operational.
- Safely select, transport, and prepare materials according to specifications.
- Choose the correct blades, feeds, speeds, and techniques to fulfill production requirements.
- Maintain quality assurance protocols and document relevant information using the provided tools.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, taking ownership of the workspace.
- Participate in special projects as needed, upholding a professional demeanor.
- Safely handle and maneuver machinery using appropriate methods and equipment.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of machines, reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhere to scheduled maintenance for machinery.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.
