**Accounts Payable Specialist**

**Location: Pulborough (Due to location you will need your own transport)**

**Salary: £28k -£29k pro rata**

**Hours: Part time 22 - 25 hours per week (flexible on the days from Mon-Fri**

If so, I have a great opportunity that has arisen in my client’s finance department for a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist in their offices in Pulborough.

You will already be an experienced accounts payable professional and have experience of processing and managing supplier invoices, credit and reject notes, and expenses and advances.

**Responsibilities**:

- Check, process, and control transactions for supplier invoice payments, including reconciliations, scanning, and secure storage.
- Ensure expenses forms and advances are processed in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts monthly and maintain supporting documentation.
- Assist with the quarterly reconciliation of VAT returns and online submissions.
- Help maintain the fixed asset register and improve traceability within the organization.
- Assist in preparing management accounts and reporting, ensuring timely and reliable information for the finance team.
- Efficiently process and pay supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
- Handle expenses forms and advances in accordance with company policies.

- Assist in maintaining the fixed asset register, enhancing traceability within the company.
- Contribute to the preparation of management accounts and reports, providing timely and accurate information to the Financial Controller, Management Accountant, and Accounts Assistant.
- Proven accounts payable background.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, and familiarity with MRP systems.
- Experience in accounting procedures and disciplines.
- Great IT skills inclusive of Excel and accountancy software packages.
- Highly organised with great communication skills.
