Rainhill Hall is a Grade II listed, country house, that has recently been transformed into a unique wedding venue. As weddings and events co-ordinator you will hosting weddings and events throughout the year, you will be dedicated to preserving and improving upon the reputation of the company, building a solid client and supplier base, managing expectations and ensuring that each and every event is run to perfection using a brief created by the coordinator and the client, inline with company policies, goals, and objectives.

As weddings, sales & events manager you will be part of the team responsible for all aspects of wedding sales, administration and Operation. From the initial enquiry through to the day of the event you will coordinate with couples on every aspect of their special day. In addition to the focus on Weddings you will have the flexibility and drive to organise and liaise with corporate guests for daily meeting bookings and other Sales opportunities.

You will be responsible for driving and developing wedding event business into the Hotel by pro-active sales activity.

You will be at the forefront of the hotels weddings and events sales and operations, providing leadership, planning an excellent service in all areas of the business. You will be responsible for the smooth running of each wedding and event, leading from the front with a hands-on approach.

With a drive to succeed through hard work and a genuine passion for the Hospitality trade, you will be an ambassador for the company and its mission.

As a successful weddings, sales & events manager your main duties will include:

- Drive, sell & execute weddings and events.
- Managing weddings and events from the initial enquiry stage, right through to the on-the-day

coordination.
- Work alongside the established weddings and sales teams dealing with enquiries.
- Achieving set targets and KPIs for weddings and special events.
- Conduct show rounds in a professional manner to meet with couples and social event bookers to sell the facilities.
- To maximise the conversions of wedding and event enquiries including taking payments, sending contracts and conducting final detail appointments.
- Building relationships with wedding couples through their planning process and work hard to ensure that they have their dream wedding day at Rainhill Hall.
- Ensure all details for bookings are kept efficiently, information is handed over to the relevant departments and detailed function sheets are completed to support on the day operations.
- Ensure all payments are taken in line with contractual agreements and inputted into the guest booking on guestline.
- To oversee and manage the weddings and events themselves, working alongside external suppliers and staff and becoming the main point of contact for the day.
- Be a part of the operations on the day. You will assist the hotel manager and coordinate with the Food & Beverage team and guide your guests through their day. You will act as Host and Toast Master for weddings on the day.

- Delivering excellent customer service and going above and beyond for your couples each and every time.
- To be passionate about people, have a personalised approach, be an excellent and confident communicator by telephone and face to face, providing a warm and professional service to our prospective Wedding couples.
- Ensure all wedding and accommodation areas are kept clean, tidy and to a high standard.
- Ensure all wedding and event spaces are always ready to be shown.
- To help organise specific marketing events at Rainhill Hall to showcase facilities.
- Engage proactively on the hotel events calendar and new concepts.
- Establish and maintain a good relationship with the local community.
- Work between internal departments to ensure effective communication, working relationships, policies and procedures to maximise operational efficiency.
- Have local and regional market knowledge, and be able to research trends in the market place. Awareness and analysis of the products and strategies offered and used by our competitors.
- Always being up to date on industry standards and implementing changes where required.
- Working proactively to bring in the latest technologies and systems to improve service and efficiency.
- To assist with marketing the venue through social media and website channels
- To adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines issued by management and be responsible for own Risk Assessments when necessary.
- Produce weekly reports on sales and revenue and meet weekly with the general manager.
