**Lions Sports Academy Overview**

Founded in 2016, we believe in providing opportunities that inspire children and young adults to realise their potential through participation in sport and physical activity.

We do this through three business areas, Sports Clubs and Camps, Schools and our Athlete Development Programme. The coaching is supported by our associate coaches network (Lions Coaches Network), boasting 120+ coaches from professional sportspeople to highly qualified and passionate coaches and university students.

Our goal is to expand and support the whole of the UK within the next 5 years.

**Overall Purpose of the Job**

To be responsible for the recruitment of high-quality reliable coaches and maintenance of the Lions Coaches Network (LCN).

**Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Job**

These will evolve over time but the main areas of focus to begin with will be:

- Organise and run taster sessions a minimum of every 6 weeks to recruit coaches
- Organise quarterly events to boost engagement of LCN
- Provide relevant content to engage with the Coaches Network via newsletters every month
- Be responsible for the recruitment of high-quality, reliable coaches into the LCN using the Lions Recruitment Process.
- Successfully and effectively run the Refer a Friend scheme
- Build relationships with universities, colleges and sports organisations such as sports clubs to recruit coaches into the LCN
- Get non-qualified coaches signed up for the Lions Level 2 in Sports Coaching
- Innovate and evolve the coaches' network process to increase engagement
- Acquiring DBS checks for coaches where necessary and ensuring best practice safer recruitment guidelines are adhered to.
- General duties as required by the role from time to time

**KPI’s of the Job**

These will evolve over time but initially, the main KPI’s will be:

- Coach leads (interested coaches)
- Initial calls
- Taster sessions/coach observations
- Coach recruitment time
- Monthly content for newsletters
- Quarterly masterclass/socials for LCN
- Refer a friend scheme
- Networking events -University/college talks

**Key Reporting/Stakeholder Relationships**

Report to Operations and Coaches Network Manager and CEO

**Key Qualifications, Skills and Experience**

**Essential**
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Great at building relationships with people
- Show initiative and be able to solve problems
- Able to obtain an enhanced DBS
- Own a car and driving license
- Good basic MS Office and computer skills

**Desirable**
- L2 qualified coach minimum
- Recruitment experience

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
