**Head of Sales & Marketing - circa £80,000 - Manchester (Hybrid)**

We are excited to be the retained partners to a leading Consumer Goods Wholesale Business in the North West.

This is a newly created position, reporting into the CEO and part of the SLT.

The organisation are looking for a Head of Sales & Marketing that will play a key role in their future requirements of:

- New Business - Driving growth, opening new customers, new markets and new opportunities.
- Active Sales - assisting the KAM in their sales but also being the go to person that drives new business.
- Category and supplier rationalisation process.
- Promotions / Offerings - how they can offer bundles, incentives to encourage new customers or to cross sell within existing customers.
- Deopt Communications - how do they support the branches to attract and retain customers.
- Marketing - ensuring brand recognition and brand loyalty
- Customer Insights - Understanding and representing the voice of the customer to drive spend

They require a proactive and motivated senior sales professional that will ensure these areas are delivered. You will work from the North West site typically 2 days per week and then be out visiting customers and potential new customers.

We are looking for someone with the below experience:

- Results driven with proven achievements of success
- Be able to demonstrate high achievement in a sales environment
- Experience of selling into high street retail, convenience or related customers
- Experience of marketing and category planning
- Demonstrate own success with practical examples.
- Full driving licence without excessive points.
