YMCA Lincolnshire is one of the county’s oldest and largest independent charities, we are dedicated to inspiring young people, supporting the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the community and positively impacting people’s lives.
At YMCA Lincolnshire we support people of all ages in the areas of life which matter most to them. We operate a wide range of life-essential services to the communities we serve that include alleviating Homelessness, progressive Housing Solutions, Childcare settings, Youth work and tackling isolation as well as commercial services including Conferencing and Retail.
Our Board of Trustees plays an important role in ensuring that we have a sound, enduring strategy, and are financially healthy; and measure our performance against this and hold ourselves to account.
The future has never been more exciting for YMCA Lincolnshire - with many substantial developments in the pipeline for the next year. We want to achieve this growth whilst sustaining the amazing work we do across the county.
Through retirement and rotation, we have vacancies for an experienced Trustee or a skilled professional who seeks to volunteer as a Trustee for the first time.
If you have experience working in any of our services including Finance, Education, Youth work, HR, Legal, Property or Housing skills, we’d love to meet you for a chat
Requirement; 10 days per year of your time through:
- Attendance at 6-8 Board meetings,
- Support to one of our key Governance Committees
- Participation in any of our celebration events and activities.
